Tuition & Financial aid

At Compass, we believe every student deserves the chance to grow, explore, and thrive. We work hard to make our programs accessible to all families through scholarships, fundraising, and financial aid. Each application is reviewed with care, and all information is kept private.

Our goal is simple: to welcome each student and family into our community, and help them find their path to ongoing educational success.

Affording a Compass education

We recognize the effort and financial commitment involved in enrolling a student at Compass. Our Board of Trustees and school staff are committed to ensuring that Compass’ specialized program is available to students and families regardless of their ability to afford the cost.

Tuition

The tuition rate for the 2025-2026 school year is $55,400. This rate includes your student’s textbooks, instructional materials, supplies, activities, athletics, field trips and two intersession trips per year.

In addition, a one-time technology fee of $1,500 covers a new Apple MacBook Pro and related software for the years the student is at Compass. Upon graduation, the student will take ownership of the laptop.

Financial Aid

The School’s Financial Aid Committee awards grants based upon careful review of each family’s financial aid application and the recommendations of School and Student Services (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). As a result, financial aid awards reflect each family’s unique circumstances, vary in size, and may change from year to year depending upon our financial aid resources and the financial need of applicants. All financial aid information provided by families is kept strictly confidential.

Financial Aid Application

The completed financial aid application along with emailed forms and SSS documents are due by February 12, 2025 for returning students and February 17, 2025 for new students to be considered for the 2025-2026 school year.  Scholarship funds may not be available if an application is received after this date.
