Admissions
The Compass High School admissions process is guided by one goal: finding the right fit for every student. Each application is reviewed with care to ensure that every student will thrive in our community and that we can meet their individual needs.
Now Enrolling Students for 2026-2027.
Compass High School is currently accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year. If you’re exploring the right school fit for your student, we invite you to take the first step: schedule a conversation with Cathy Schultz, our Director of Admissions. On the short introductory call, she will answer your questions, share more about our unique community, and guide you through our admissions process. We look forward to meeting you!
Admissions Process
Schedule a 30-minute introductory call with our Director of Admissions Cathy Schultz to get to know our specialized school.
2. Campus Tour
If Compass High School feels like the right fit for you during our introductory call, then we’ll schedule a Campus Tour for you to visit the school. During your tour, you’ll be able to get a real feel for the supportive, strength-based environment your student would be part of every day at Compass High School.
3. Submit the Application
After the campus tour, you will be invited to submit your application, required documents, and application fee to complete the admissions process.
4. A Day at Compass High School
Once we receive your application, we’ll schedule “A Day at Compass High School.” This will give your student the opportunity to shadow a current student to explore a day in the life of a Compass High School student.
5. Family Meeting (Optional)
We offer an optional, low-stress Family Meeting with our head of school. We welcome parents to meet with our head of school, while your student meets with Cathy and another member of our team. These conversations are very informal. Come as you are!
6. Admissions Decision
Upon review of your application, we will share our admissions decision with you.
Admissions Timeline
Now enrolling for the 2026-2027 school year! The priority application deadline for the 2027-2028 school year is February 13, 2027.
Apply early so there’s plenty of time to review your application, set up a “A Day at Compass High School” visit, and complete the process smoothly.
If space allows, we continue to welcome applications all year, including mid-year school transfers.
