Rev. Charley Scandlyn leads New Again, a ministry nonprofit, and has served as a pastor in the Bay Area for more than 30 years with a focus on start-ups and spiritual friendships. Charley founded New Community Church in Menlo Park in 2018, renovating the campus and leading the church in its first five years.
Charley was the founding executive director for the Ravenswood Education Foundation in East Palo Alto, which funds and develops programs to improve educational outcomes at local public schools. Charley also served at Menlo Church as executive pastor. He led ministries for students, young adults, men, and parents, and oversaw the church's Menlo Park campus. Charley holds a master’s degree in Theology from Fuller Seminary, a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, and has completed the LEAD innovation program at Stanford's Graduate School of Business. Charley is active in his community. He and his wife Nicole have raised seven now-adult children between them.
