Hi, I’m Uri
Athletics Director
Basketball Coach
Teaching Aide
Uri Tzoore has been part of the Compass High community for many years, first as a student and now as the school’s Athletic Director, Coach, and Teaching Aide. A proud Compass alumnus (Class of 2019), Uri went on to earn his degree in Advertising with a minor in Sports Business from the University of Oregon before returning to his alma mater to help lead its athletic programs and support students both in and out of the classroom.
As Athletic Director, Uri is passionate about promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit. He believes athletics can be one of the most powerful ways for students to build confidence, connection, and leadership.
When he’s not on the field or in class, Uri’s usually outside hiking, golfing, or jumping into a pickup game with friends. He’s been a sports fan his whole life, especially football and basketball, and never misses an Oregon Ducks game. When it’s time to relax, he enjoys playing video games, binge-watching a show, hanging out with friends, or finding a spot to catch the next big game.
